On Saturday I finished using the wood from the side of the stairs to make a return work surface down the side of the conservatory. It is very roughly constructed and unfinished - but I like it like this. I will put some more shelves underneath this work surface later. Posted by Picasa

This morning I reorganised the conservatory so I had more space on the main area. I still have work to do to finish the conservatory but it will be sufficient for the next few weeks. Posted by Picasa

I also did some work on the conservatory yesterday (16th) on the work surfaces, especially the one running down the left hand side against the window. I then moved the new desktop into the conservatory and I can work in here from now on during the day. Posted by Picasa

This is another view of the landing ceiling as the plaster continues to dry out. Posted by Picasa

This is the view this morning (17th) from the bottom of the stairs. The plaster is drying out. Martin also plastered around the window (which he had put in last year). Posted by Picasa

And this is the bathroom ceiling that he also finished. Posted by Picasa

Yesterday (Oct 16th) Martin came to plaster the ceiling on the landing. This is the view from the bathroom door just after Martin had left. Posted by Picasa

And this is the smaller one now installed on the wall upstairs. Posted by Picasa

I also swapped the radiator on the landing for the smaller one that was originally on the old kitchen wall. I put the one that was originally on the landing into the door space that in now in the conservatory - Dave thinks that there should be enough heat for downstairs from this plus the other two. Posted by Picasa

This is the large radiator that is now on the side wall. I was able to put the skirting board along this wall too - although it is a pain putting them on. Posted by Picasa

Dave Cottam came round on Frday 29 Sept and put the radiators back on. You can see the skirting board along the wall, too. He swapped the two main radiators - this is the smaller one that was originally on the side wall that is now under the window. Posted by Picasa
