On Tuesday Lee levelled the front room ceiling with battens (it is very unlevel) and screwed on most of the ceiling boards. Posted by Picasa

This is looking through the bathroom door to see the battens on the right hand side of the ceiling over the original polystyrene tiles. Posted by Picasa

This is the current state of the Attic. There is a huge amount of dust which went everywhere when Lee was putting the new door in and the new boards on the ceiling. He plans to vacuum it out on Wednesday and then insulate and board it so it can be used for storage. Posted by Picasa

When the second half is unfolded it provides am excellent ladder up to the Attic. Posted by Picasa

The new Attic door is pulled down with the short pole seen leaning against the wall on the left. There is a folding ladder on the other side of the door. Posted by Picasa
