This is another picture of the new downstairs ceiling boards - the metal beam is out of level by about 2 inches so will have to be boarded separately.

This is a picture of the nearly finished boarding of the front room ceiling from the other side.

On Tuesday Lee levelled the front room ceiling with battens (it is very unlevel) and screwed on most of the ceiling boards.

This is the finished boarded ceiling in the bathroom after Lee's work on Tuesday.

This is looking through the bathroom door to see the battens on the right hand side of the ceiling over the original polystyrene tiles.

This is the current state of the Attic. There is a huge amount of dust which went everywhere when Lee was putting the new door in and the new boards on the ceiling. He plans to vacuum it out on Wednesday and then insulate and board it so it can be used for storage.

When the second half is unfolded it provides am excellent ladder up to the Attic.

The new Attic door is pulled down with the short pole seen leaning against the wall on the left. There is a folding ladder on the other side of the door.

And this is the new ceiling as seen from the bottom of the stairs

This is the new ceiling from the other end of the landing.

This is the upstairs landing after the old ceiling had been reboarded, plus the new door into the Attic.

After a long period of inactivity due to the unavailability of the builders we have started this week on the ceilings on the landing, bathroom and front room. Here are some of the ceiling boards that Lee is using.
